Japan to fly Origami plane from the International Space Station to Earth!

The University of Tokyo and the Japan folded paper (origami) plane society hopes to fly a paper airplane from the International Space Station to Earth. The plane will be 30-40cm long and weigh about 30 grams. A University of Tokyo research group has successfully designed a special paper plane model that was able to withstand a Mach 7 high velocity stream for 10 seconds. The experimental plane was about one-fifth the size and withstood temperatures as high as 300C...

Panasonic Viera PX80 Plasma with 15000:1 contrast ratio

Matushita or Panasonic Japan has announced the Viera PX80 a new range of Plasma televisions. Scheduled to go on sale by February 15 the lineup will have three models of 50", 42" and 37" respectively. The 50 incher will offer a resolution of 1,366×768 pixels whereas the 42 and 37 inch models will offer 1024x768 pixels.
